Sir Paul McCartney and his wife Nancy Shevell arrive at Kansai International Airport in Osaka on Monday morning. McCartney, 72, will open his "Out There Japan" tour at Kyocera Dome in Osaka on Tuesday, then play at Tokyo Dome on April 23, 25 and 27, followed by a Budokan concert on April 28. About 500 fans were on hand to greet McCartney who had to cancel all his concerts in Japan last May due to an illness.

Sir Paul's certainly had some memorable trips to Japan, hasn't he? I hope this one is more successful than his last! Welcome to Japan!

This millionaire still needs more more more, tickets for these gigs are silly money, plus the guy charges 32.50 for membership to his website. When is enough enough Paul?

meh, to each his own. never cared much for his music, but obviously there are enough people for him to still make money.

Not in bad shape for a 72-year-old. Apart from the inexpertly dyed hair of course!
I hope he makes it on to the stage this time...

One of the very few artists his age whose tour can get the under 30s talking at my office. Pretty impressive.

Really want to see him in concert one last time but he is charging silly money these days. Seems 1990 in Wembley, West London will be the only time I'll have seen him live.

Looking good Paul! Photograph is dated 4-20-2014, please note that 420 is a symbolic date in the USA and better known as "weed day". Is this coincidental? Hope your violin case is empty! Lol
