I can't help thinking there's unnecessary clutter in this pic.
Lose the bloke, the old bird, the car and the carpet. And the outer garments.

"Lose the bloke, the old bird, the car and the carpet"
I think the "old bird" and the carpet could stay.
This photo is a real tease. Here, we can, if we squint, see that there is a bevy of beauties to behold.

I agree, the car takes up way too much space in this picture. Miss Japan has had some very beautiful winners in recent years that were competitive in Miss Universe.

Miss Universe Japan national director Ines Ligron has taken the program into Gold Medal contention w/ back to back 1st runnerup and the Miss Universe crown. She has built the program into a contender for the crown and the polish on the candidates shines thru. She is a "sensei" worth her weight in pure gold.

I take her weight in gold, plus a couple of the contestants. Forget the ugly car and the old guy.

apecNetworks, While I agree that Ligron has done a great job with the Miss Japan program, I wish she would stay out of promotional photos such as this one. Miss Japan is about the girls, not her, and she doesn't seem to get that. I don't really like the aggressive self-promotion that's going on here. The car and the girls are fine, but the executives need to take their proper place behind the camera, not in front of it. I sense runaway egos here on the part of Ligron and Boesch.

I like Audi Japan President Dominique Boesch. He looks like an athlete.
