    Obviously you don't know that JMSDF has been using the flag for more than 50 years.

    john113: I bet you I do know the JMSDF has been wearing it since 1954. I worked alongside JMSDF members in the '90s on Atsugi and Yokosuka, but thanks for asking.

    Let's see what the JMSDF and Japan Coast Guard members do when they encounter hostile fire from some Somali pirates.

    And with no one to protect them like in Iraq, so good luck, Japan!
