Hey! That's my favorite Kokkyo spot! Lucky for him I was somewhere else at that time.

    Get a job!

But seriously, today's trend of black t-shirts needs to be reconsidered concerning this 'heat wave' we're having.

I know Tokyo has loads of green and parks, including a palace but no Yank I know would go for it. Dude looks like pro athlete kicking it too. My guess is near the palace with flat area and no gaudy concrete.

@Trapped: The guy in the park is doing the right thing actually. Black clothing absorbs sunlight and the heat radiating from your body, but if it is loose-fitting, and there is wind, the wind convects the heat away faster than it is absorbed. White clothing reflects sunlight, but also reflects internal heat back towards your body, so the net effect under identical conditions is less cooling than if you wore black. Desert-dwelling nomadic people such as the Tuaregs wear loose-fitting black clothing, and have been doing so for a very, very long time. If there were an advantage to wearing white clothes, you'd certainly expect they'd have figured that out by now.

That looks like the park in front of the Imperial Palace. I have also napped there at lunchtime. It's important to keep your head off the ground to avoid the ants.

It was a bit silly because when this photo appeared, JT had a headline about people dieing in the heatwave in the article next to the photo.
