Based on the occupancy of the other seats, at least you have to give him credit for making the effort to show up!

As somewhat of an expert in napping while sitting up, I wonder just how "asleep" he really is. My head tilts forward when napping like that. Allowing my head to tilt back like in the picture will quickly cause my mouth to gape open and my neck to cramp.

Don't they realize this is bad PR? They need to somewhere else behind closed doors. Then again this is typical, I've seen my boss nap in front of his desk during breaks.

Now that's funny, and people see nothing wrong with this. I may come in stinking like booze now and again but at least I don't sleep at my desk.

Why didn't he send his junior minister instead? that's what they are for when senpai needs to nap.

Country of the Rising Sun or Sleeping Sons ?! You all just don't get it. You see, they are sooooo confident about how things are going that they can actually take naps during work. We just relax! Relax. Be happy. I mean if they were wide-eyed, and concentrating on some issue, then we might have to worry. Nope, we are in good, good hands.

you'll see the same in just about any meeting held in Japan - someone will be asleep. It beggers belief that people truly believe that Japan is a dynamic fast paced with it country - NOT TRUE. Anyone that has worked there will be happy to debunk most western myths about Japan

Oh, come on! We had it far, far, far WORSE in the states with George Idiot Bush. I much rather have someone asleep for an hour or so than a flippin idiot who thinks God talks to him and tells him to invade countries or recognizes a budget because it has numbers in it.
