Sumo wrestlers live a cloistered life of daily practice and growing bellies.

Are they surrounding him and patting him on the back or attacking him?

For a celebration, there seems to be a lack of cheeriness...

is this normal? If I were to just look at the picture I'd say the guy illegally knocked his opponent out cold and the other wrestlers got out to confront him.

Patting Toru Hanai after winning a training bout .Sumo wrestlers comradeship is seen at its best .They should be prepared to hold such training bouts at capitals of different countries to make Sumo popular out of Japan ultimately leading it to be included in World Olympic Games.

Olympic Games lol as much as i like Sumo, inclusion in the Olympic games is a long long way off. first the JSA will have to accept all foreign sumos without restrictions if they even have any chance of being included, even if they want to.

Don't see how Sumo can be an Olympic sport, given that its technically a religious ceremony, performed for the pleasure of the Shinto gods. Cumberland wrestling is the way to go: all the fun of Sumo without any of the religious trappings.
