A Self-Defense Force soldier stands guard near a Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) missile unit at the Defense Ministry in Tokyo on Sunday. The PAC-3 missiles, currently deployed at six locations in Japan, are to back up the Maritime Self-Defense Force’s Aegis guided-missile destroyers, currently on their way to the Sea of Japan and the Pacific Ocean, ahead of North Korea’s planned launch of what it says is a satellite between April 4 and 8.

The Patriot Advanced Capability-3 is one of the most poor anti-missile systems exited. I wouldn't count on that to really protect anything... it is mostly for media propaganda to let people feel safer.

anyway all that story about North Korea sounds a little fishy to me...
