Made this sort of "mistake" twice during my years in Japan. One year at Toyokawa Inari in Toyokawa, Aichi. Another at Atsuta Jingu in Nagoya. Both were "Hatsu Mode" trips and both resulted in being pelted with coins being offered by those behind me because of my height, and because of having ended up right at the edge of the fence in the front. Akemashite omedetou gozaimasu ! Kotoshi mo yoroshiku onegai wo moshi agemasu ! Happy New Year to all!

LEt New Years Day be a global day of peace... 24 hours of no war.. honoring ancestors and giving hope for the children of the future.. it is simple thing to just not kill anyone for one day... every New Years Day... and it can start in the land where the sun rises giving rebirth, growth and peace on EArth and in our hearts.

My prayers at home during the past few weeks worked great - I won some BIG money in the Nenmatsu Jumbo Lottery! Then I woke up, ha ha
