Mima Ito of Japan celebrates after defeating world champion Ding Ning of China in their Women's Singles Stage 1 (East Asia) match during the Asian Table Tennis Qualification Tournament for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games in Hong Kong, on Thursday. Ito, who is 15, won 6-11, 11-9, 12-10, 11-5, 6-11, 11-9.

Don't be a dingaling. Ding Ning is Chinese! Doesn't Ning ring a bell? Ding would be shocked if she knew the Ning name was mistaken as Japanese. The Nings are a proud Chinese family and Ning will certainly be back in the winners circle before long.
