He probably saw a movie once with bagpiges in it now wears a kilt every chance he gets. That's traditional Japanese culture. To mimic.

Give the guy a break. He might even enjoy playing the pipes. Just as long as he has some real talent, and he's not following the Kara-oke spirit.

Q: What's the difference between a bagpipe and an onion?

A: Nobody cries when you chop up the bagpipe.

  • CaptDingleheimer at 12:42 PM JST - 18th January

Why was he playing them, anyway? Did a cop or a fireman die or something?

  • shouganaika at 12:47 PM JST - 18th January

Rare talent, bagpipe can sound fun too if you mix them with rock music like what ACDC did.

  • irishhighlander at 02:43 PM JST - 18th January

I played with this guy at the 26th RBS Japan Highland Games in Makuhari back in October. Won Third Place in the Drumming competition Get a drum and do it again there if the Yaks don`t chase us out.

I know this guy, he's pretty good.

However, another pipe joke is in order... Q: what's the difference between a bagpipe and a trampoline? A: people usually take off their shoes before jumping on a trampoline.
