Awsome Pic, green signal means no violation of traffic regulations, plus this portable plant is like sun umbrella/shed rain.

LOL. Correct word usage doesn't seem to be JT's forte. Nice pic, though, although I doubt anybody seeing something like this would think "hmm, that guy is taking his plant for a ride..." they would come to the obvious conclusion that he is taking the plant home, or moving it for a friend....

Nice attempt at humor, thought, JT..

Actually my friends from NZ & Oz said "pot plant" when referring to house plants.

That pot plant doesn't look anything like my pot plant.

And what is "Last Weones Day"?

    tclh

I think he just has bought that bouganville from a market and on the way home. If not ,then it is a lovable idea to assume that a potted plant can ENJOY scenes from the streets and hence like a dog,you should take it out from time to time.

Let me say that this headline left me severely disappointed. Sigh.

what is "Last Weones Day"? 10/9/2008 it is supposed to be the end of this world and we all die.

She wasn't expecting any deviation from the manual which stipulates that for every square metre of greenery there will a hectare of grey.

N.B. The trees in the background are billboards, advertising a greener Tokyo, but no one is buying.

I suppose it is possible he just bought the plane, but it is more likely he is a nutter and he is actually taking his pot plant for a ride. Nice headline!

Sorry mate, I am in Australia and always counting the day first then the month. Correctly: On Wednesday 10 of September/2008 ,it was supposed to be the end of this world and we should all die. Nothing happened. ha ha ha..

looking at the elderly lady sporting a rather fetching black visor and sleeves combo in the background one might infer that some japanese have an extreme aversion to sunlight.

The chances are 99% that the man was transporting this potted plant.

pot plant? Obviously this guy doesn't have marijuana, but I've never heard anyone say pot plant instead of potted plant. Do British people say that or something?

  • 0

    Nessie

Clearly, it's a sentient plant that's mananaged to tap into the nervous system of humans for transport.

    cleo

According to the rules of English grammar and usage, a pot plant is marijuana while a potted plant is any plant in a pot.

So a pot pie is a pie that gets you high, and a pie baked in a deep dish, often with a top crust only, or a stew with dumplings, is a potted pie? Not according to the recipe books in my kitchen, it's not.
