What a struggle most of the Open golfers are having dealing with the inconsistent and powerful wind conditions. Hopefully the winds will die down on Day Four. And aren't those invisable bunkers a challenge?!

Plus there doesn't seem to be a flat green on the course. Lots of undulations.

Lots of unfamiliar faces are at the top of the leaderboard - that's exciting! Watch for NorCal golfer, Nick Watney (who's in 8th place at 5 under) to edge closer to the top on Sunday!

Um ... welll ... its Scotland. What do you expect? Or do you imagine Scotland is a little country somewhere near Guam?

So true, shufu - I live not too far from Peeble Beach in NorCal and the winds are nearly always a factor to consider playing those courses, being that you're right next to the Pacific Ocean. What a shot Miguel Angel Jimenez had on the 17th - the Road Hole - the other day. Too bad he double bogeyed that hole. Who says that watching golf is boring???
