Don't rush it, Masahiro Tanaka!

I wish only the best for this young man but I fear Japanese school baseball and yakyu had a hand in these injuries. It may make the major leagues think twice about the millions they pay for these players.

Tanaka... as with many other Japanese pitchers.... is undergoing therapy due to overuse of the shoulder, arm and elbow during their High School years.

Advantage of MLB team sign Japanese players are teams can have them working on majors right away nstead of training players from A, AA, AAA and to major. Well, it may sound a big money contract but Yankees did not pay as much as Dodgers, Giants, and Angels pay like $20 million for each 10 years (A Pujols of Angels). Tanaka created a phras Tanaka Pitch that his pitched ball go into straight to strike zone and get inside of catchers glove. One team warried when they had to face Tanaka. Yankees rushed him, So, this time, with chance to lose Wild Card seed race, Yankees gave him rest. Many pitchers are on DLB as the season will be over very soon, Not only pitchers but infielders and outfielders, too. Glad Yankees is giving him rest. We don't want pitchers wind up to get Tommy John surgery. This year, Oriole dominated AL East but maybe next year, Yankees might have a big chance when Tanaka returns to games.
