    If Japanese steel makers didn't need those ships, Chinese steel makers could buy them and bring home for their new products. A lot of foreign companies can clean up these areas at affordable prices. The government can open bidding appointments for both domestic and foreign bidders.

    The size of the vessels really brings home the power and height of the tsunami - to be able to lift them above their wharves and banks and dump them on the shore.

    That is a powerful photo. Obviously no-one had told this "biker" about the tsunami 2 months ago - he just can't understand why the road is closed.

    These ships dont really show the "power" of the Tsunami perse, rather the size/height of it, which was immense. The power of the Tsunami is best illustrated by what it does to 'fixed' objects on land - which were obliterated.

    This is a perfect example of what happens when traffic doesn't obey the traffic signals. You get this kind of gridlock. I hope all three of these boat captains got tickets for "Failure to obey traffic signals."

    All humor aside, that wave moved some SERIOUS steel to where it never should be. The power of nature always amazes me.

    It could be any sensible bike like Honda brought out in the 60s. But if I were riding then Like him I would probably do an about turn to safer terrain.
