The hands -are- ugly. As for robot lovers, I think a Japanese living in America already made his own companion robot that can do various things. He has also mentioned it is 'anatomically correct', but that's not what he uses her for...

Actually, I believe the robot inventor is Vietnamese Canadian. He called the robot Aiko. Japanese name but the Ai probably stands for artificial intelligence. Great name... why didn't the Japanese think of that?
