Samba dancers perform during the annual Asakusa Samba Carnival in Tokyo on Saturday. The festival dates back to 1981. More than 4,700 dancers took part in the parade.

August or Summer in Japan is full with festivals. Samba Carnival is my favourite enjoy with Beers in Asakusa.

What a beautiful view - and I'm sure the dancing was great too! If anyone has an aparto overlooking the festival then I promise a case of Asahi next year if I can join you on the balcony !

I had plan to go, but it was raining at my place at the time of the event. I was afraid they would cancel it, but I am happy everyone enjoyed it.
