Samba time

Love to see the Japanese women in skimpy samba costumes at this carnival.

Kobes version is always a good watch. Not so sure if its samba they are do more like hip wiggling smiling and waving, even though its called samba carnival, either way its a good watch.

Something about the fact that the backdrop is an old, grey tax office and not a lively balcony filled with people dancing, confetti flying, and smiles and fun is a testament to the contrast of cultures. I do love the pic at the bottom with the people crossing the street, though, and I do hope it introduced the culture to some people and those who know and love it could have fun on an otherwise dreary day.
