Actors Atsuko Sudo, Saburo Shinoda, Yoshiko Mita and Sachiko Kokubun stand by a model of the first-generation bullet train in Daiba to introduce their stage play “Sanchome no yuhi,” which is based on a popular comic of the 1960s. The comic became a hit film in 2005. The four actors, who play a family, appeared at the PR event in their 1960s costumes. The play opens at Meijiza in Tokyo on Nov 3.
