Seeing the light

Seeing the light
NABANA NO SATO

LEDs (light emitting diodes) form an image of Mt Fuji at Nabana no Sato theme park in Kuwana, Mie Prefecture. The park’s illumination, which lasts until March, uses more than 5.8 million lights in a dazzling display of shapes and figures.

If you havent been there - go!

It is amazing and if you can handle the hordes of slack-jawed obachans, you will be fine. I suggest taking a tour bus package though. The access road to the grounds is very narrow and will take over an hour to get in. Then there is the line up to pay and the line up for everything else. Tour guides have magic powers to storm through the queues. Seriously good date material.

nice to see that Japan's commitment to the environment, climate change, and reducing waste is going to good use and in no way misrepresents itself at international meetings and as a signatory to any agreements past present or future

Great way to make money in a flower garden that would be empty. 2,000 Yen p.p. is nothing for all this beauty.

Absolutely loved this place, there are a variety of displays to see, and some decent restaurants to eat at. When I went last year it had just finished pouring down rain so the place was empty so me and my lady pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. Last year they did this amazing aurora borealis display which was beautiful.
