I experienced more than twenty winters in Japan. That picture doesn't strike me as being miserable. Miserable is what we had last week. Temperatures of 6 degrees F (-8 wind chill). And about four inches of the white stuff. And this is just the beginning !
Kind of a ho-hum picture of snowy Tokyo. JT, in the future, consider taking a picture in Meiji Jingu. That path covered with snow flanked by snow-capped stone lanterns makes for a great pic!
Have to agree with @the_sheriff ...couldn't you find a more interesting picture than this?

Readers, the photo was taken at 6:45 a.m. and was simply meant to show what most Tokyoites saw when they woke up this morning and looked out their windows. That's all. On our Facebook page, it reached more than 284,000 people, had 1,347 shares and 197 comments.
The snow seems to have changed many people's schedules. My wife actually lost her drive to go to one of her culture lessons. Yes, she got virtually snowed in at home. :‑(

Riding a bicycle in the snow is not fun. Be safe, JTers.
