They are showing their feelings about the price tag. The first is shock, the next is laughter, then dissapointment and disgust.

yeah... wrong move to not include PS2 support and ethernet

Still a bit expensive with no backwards compatibility, only a couple of exclusives and not too much else. Glad they will fix up their PSN but this still needs a lot of work. I will wait. Still got my 360, Wii and PS2.

Why is backwards compatibility such a big deal for people? Most consoles don't have backwards compatibility, traditionally. We never saw this in the cart age, 360 is not 100% b/c by any means. If you already have PS2 games you assuredly have a PS2 console. Just play your PS2 games in that. The PS3 already plays PS1 games regardless of hardware revision.

I still think the PS3 is a bit too expensive for most people at $299 especially for 3 year old hardware.

Third guy from the left is going to vomit on the game console. Here is the big question: Is it "vomit proof"? My previous mobile phone wasn't, and I am worried that the PS3 is not.

yeah great time to re-release a failed console...I'm sure all the poorer people out there will dash to the shops to buy a slightly cheaper console that they didn't want in the first place.

..and what the hell is the second women looking at?

pawtan-If you are not a collector and you do not have enough ports and you do not want to have a bunch of wires hanging around your TV or Entertainment center, you want to have as few consoles around as possible. They take space, even the slim PS2 and PS1 need space. If the system is backwards compatible, then you do not have to worry about it. For collectors, this is normally not a problem, but for regular gamers or part time gamers, no one wants a buch of systems sitting around or having to drag one system out of the closet to play a game.

That is the face Kid made when he got knocked out by the Korean guy on K-1 a couple weeks back.

    moonknightskye:

    It does have ethernet: http://www.sony.co.jp/SonyInfo/IR/news/8ido180000026mno-att/0819J.pdf

Even Sony wouldn't be stupid enough to cripple networkability be leaving it with only WiFi connectivity.

Sony has been denying the PS3 slim all along....

Finally. PS3 is a great machine. I love mine. Blue ray, online games, great mp3 player and AVI player. Wish I had two for each of my TV's. Just have to get that by the wife, who protested on initial my purchase. She now realizes the value when I run a movie off the harddrive.

Has Kid Yamamoto been reduced to becoming a Talento in the making. Pretty soon he will be hosting variety shows.
