American singer Taylor Swift greets fans upon her arrival at Narita International Airport on Tuesday night. About 100 fans gathered in the airport lobby. The 24-year-old singer/songwriter is in Japan to promote her 5th album "1989."

Her is one of the few artist that I envision her to be cataloged as one of the most influential people in arts and music in the future.... I actually hope she become that great.

Japan is the largest market for music (practically American music). Americans sell their music in Japan more than in USA although J population is about 1/3 USA. Americans often say J market is closed, but it isn't.

i believe she is removing all of her songs from spotify, saying that they undervalue artists work. so likely will sell even more in Japan. Surprised only 100 turned out to welcome her.
