American actor-director Dustin Hoffman poses with Japanese opera singer Michie Nakamaru during the Japan premiere of his film "Quartet" in Tokyo on Monday night. Hoffman, 75, making his first visit to Japan in 21 years, directed the film which is about a home for retired musicians where a concert is held each year to celebrate Verdi's birthday. The film opens in Japan on April 19.
