Keanu Reeves, 44, Jennifer Connelly, 38, and Jaden Smith, 10, meet the press in Tokyo on Wednesday during a promotion for their film, “The Day the Earth Stood Still.” The liveliest moments came from the precocious Smith, the son of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, who said his parents had taught him to just be natural when acting and in the spotlight. Reeves and Connelly had to deal with questions such as what would they do if they met an alien, who would they tell if they learned the world was about to be destroyed and what would their last meal be. The film, a “reimagining” of the 1951 classic sci-fi film, opens in Japan on Saturday, only one week after its U.S. release.

This movie will suck big time. I saw the preview when watching the great "tropic of thunder" last week. I do not want to see this stupid movie ever. Must be so boring. Must be the stupidest movie since "contact". Yuk. I will never watch it. No way. Never. Must be even stupider than those recent Mars movies. Nope, Bill will not go there ever.

Keanu Reeves' expression in this photo is exactly the same as every other photo of him I've ever seen. And that necktie is too boring.

I haven't seen this remake yet, but I betcha it ain't as good as the original.

Reeves was great as Marlon in I Love You to Death, and as Ted in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, and Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey.

I saw this movie without knowing, just following friends and well... it was really unworthy. This movie is just fade, the storyline really sucks, thought it would have been so easy to do better...

Connelly and Reeves both look elegant and understated. Connelly needs to stop having plastic surgery, whatever she's had done to her eyes, cheeks and nose is not an improvement!

Father Time and a plastic surgeon or two have made their mark on Jennifer Connelly, but she will always be one of my favorite actresses. She was great from Career Opportunities *to the uncut version of *Waking The Dead.

Jaden sounds like a girls name

really? Jaden is very a much a boys name to me, though for some bizarre reason the USA takes boys names and makes them girls names. Hayden, Shannon etc.
