The kerosene heater is a nice touch.

The did not use Prince Naruhito, who recently criticized Abe's view of history?

He's not bowing low enough....... the bloke lurking behind the pillar must be one of Japan's new superspies...... kerosene heater is indeed a quirky touch

Abe is not bowing low enough, or is this his way of telling them he will be the new Emperor of Japan. This is sickening to even watch.

Other than the princess, not another woman in the picture. Maybe all this drumbeat to renewed military assertiveness in Japan would be mitigated if that were not the case. IMO, there are too many "old" men, with personal agendas, like Abe, driving Japan in an unfortunate direction.

This is an honorable ceremony for all those that lost everything in that terrible event. We must never forget those who died in that terrible firestorm. I'll keep them in my prayers as well as praying for that never, ever, to happen again.
