Tokyo Tower

Tokyo Tower

Tokyo Tower is lit up in the colors of Japan’s flag to celebrate Japan’s victory in the World Baseball Classic last Monday. It will remain lit up in those colors until late Sunday night.

This is very beautiful. Everybody thinks so. Why until Sunday night? Why not until 2013?

Kwatt, I agree, looks good leave it that way.

So far three posts & two of those were negative.

As my mother always said, “if you have nothing good to say, say nothing.”

monuments around the world will turn their lights off, Japan will have their's on. Ironic is it not that the country of the Kyoto Protocol can't even take part in a simple protest against climate change? The least Japan can do, it can't even do. Maybe it's in the fine print somewhere...

I didn't care about Earth Hour last year, but that's because I missed the point. I know it's not doing anything really, but the point is to stick a politician in the eye and say "I can do this for an hour, what about you?". Companies under pressure are also turing their lights off.

If again the least you can do, you can't even do, then we can't get to the next step on global action. So send a message. Lights out 8:30pm
