therougou: No. If you read the explanation under the photo it's clear that Kim (in the white) won. Japan is not doing well in Judo, as has been the trend of late, although they have at least one gold so far.

@smith yeh I read the korean won, but didn't bother to read the colors. just assumed korea was in blue because of the blue in their flag, but I guess they don't choose the colors that way. anyway, I think it used to be white vs white, then some "foreigners" came and changed the rules.

Based on what? In the world judo championships in Russia last month they had the most golds and most medals. Same with the one before that. So far at the Asian games they have 4 golds, 11 medals overall in judo.
