“Twilight” star Robert Pattinson, center, and Chris Weitz, director of “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” pose with singer Miriya Kato who sings the song “Destiny,” which is a bonus track on the movie’s soundtrack CD for Japan. Pattinson was greeted in Shinagawa on Tuesday by a legion of teenagers, many of whom waited six hours for a one-hour fan meeting with the star. One 14-year-old girl wanted to know if she could date him when she got older. “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” opens in Japan on Nov 28.

I love Chris Weitz' cute dimple. Now I understand why he is so attractive.

Very unusual - released within a month of the rest of the world. Bizarre, really...I thought we Japanese needed a long time to get our translations perfect so there's no confusion. It now seems that there's no reason whatsoever to delay releases if the mood strikes them.

It's sure to be subtitled, not dubbed

The shoes are so weird! Makes her look like she has feet with a birth defekt.
Makun at 11:49 AM JST - 4th November
So without the shoes she must be what? 3.5ft tall?

There is a special place in my heart for short women. I think many guys are the same. They bring out my protective feelings I think. Yet, I think most short women wish to be tall, and make horrible fashion choices for it. I think she should capitalize on it, wear flat soles, and make the guys stoop to her level.

Yeah those guys are really uncool. I'd definitely be relieving her of those shoes too.
SiouxGirl at 12:57 PM JST - 4th November
I'd like to see those shoes in motion. Do they look better than while she's standing still? Meanwhile, poor R. Pattz. He kind of made a deal with the devil by signing on for Twilight. And poor Chris Weitz. I'm sure New Moon will be as much of a groaner as 1st movie was. Sads all around.
