Hundreds of people wait in line for the grand opening of the glitzy shopping complex Tokyu Plaza Ginza on Thursday morning. The new 14-story complex features 125 shops, including the Lotte Duty Free store and a number of unique Japanese craft and souvenir stores spread on two floors under the name "Find Japan Market."

Walked through the new store today ... right after it opened. They have a lot of really nice resting areas on the both the 11th and 12th floors, which are on top of the modernly structured building. It's like another giant mall, many of which are opening here and there in the Kansai area. I'll go again to the Tokyu Plaza someday ... hopefully when there are less people there.

The last thing I want to do is wait in lines for hours to get something. :‑(

Oh ... seeing the comments below mine ... I forgot to say: My waiting time was Zero seconds. I walked right in. And ... it is like a giant glass box ... yes, there's cement, too ... but lots and lots of glass ...

No thanks. The good part of this, though, is that the last trendy place that opened will finally be a little quieter and the throng moves here.
