KING FOR A DAY !!!!! YEAHHHHHHH !!!!
OZAWA - The King of Boo Boo Me Bum Bum !!!!!
Since nobody is on the same page.( politicians) I will propose my own ideas on the new tax system of Japan. Just an idea !!!!
People who should be taxed more in Japan:
1) People who own apartment buildings ( crazy apartment fees, thank you fees etc ) Please tax these individuals who pocket Y 200000 - 300000 security deposit.
2) Tax people who own Luxury super cars ( tax them again and gain and again )_
3) Tax individuals making over 600000 yen a month_
4) If you own more than 3 houses, you should be taxed more and more and more and more ( Ozawa owns at least 5 houses )_
5) If you make under 300000 yen a month you should receive a tax break for 10 years._
if your a part time full time worker or temp worker. (prt -ft worker = whatever that means ) And you do not receive health benefits or receive sick days in your contract. You will be tax exempt for 20 years._
Rich / family of means - should pay more and more taxes than the average fool in Japan. If you do it !! Your country will grow if you do not. Time to put your whole head in an area that doesn't shine because Japan is heading towards the _______. ( Please add creative word to complete this sentence )

国民の生活が第一党。 Kokumin no seikatsu ga daiichi to. The "people's lifestyle is most important" party. Who in the BFH comes up with these names? Tmarie, there are actually several women there, just not visible in this photo.

we should have a competition for stupid names. How about the "we love cute puppies party" that would get loads of votes or the "I know whats best "party The head in the sand party....the possibilities are endless

If they had called it the "AKB48 forever Party" they would have won the otaku electorate practially overnight. :)p

Thumbs down for stating the obvious? Come on now, she's at the front to appeal to the women in Japan - when is the last time a women has been up at the front with the boys in politics here? Tanaka??

Ozawa looks a bit like Jabba the Hut...

If he is so against raising the consumption tax what is his alternative? All I hear from him is "cut wasteful spending", that aint gonna cut it... unless he is going to tax the rich then he needs to stop making new parties... he is a total fail

How many of these characters will be booted out at the next election?

He looks a lot like him! Kind of the love child of Jabba and Admiral Ackbar.

Seems like such a farce. How can they take themselves seriously? Oh well, politics will be politics. I don't see a lot more being accomplished by thier equivalents in my home country .

Yay we did it guys! (sarcasm) Looks like the usual ojisan line-up at a Japanese wedding. Bunch of drunk bosses. Drunk with a false sense of empowerment, they let down their samurai facade for a split-second to express a moment of sheer joy...
The woman is there to pour the drinks unfortunately. Sorry.

I bet the original voters for them did not have this in mind.

A lot of times Japanese politics is so much about appearance and then they take a picture like this. And everybody complained about the Olympic snowboarder lol

Where does Ozawa get the money to continue this crap? Please tell me my taxes aren't going to pay for these people.

they should be ashamed of themselves and ashamed of their "party" name. they have absolutely no interest in the country nor the people who pay taxes and call japan home.

GO ! (I mean 5, Fifth party for uncle Ozawa)
Mr Ozawa put himself in a safe place as he was in danger of living something really embarrassing : being asked to govern the country. That would have been terrible as 5 decades of doing the noisy politician have not prepared him to that. What he knows is how to be in opposition and criticize everybody.

Ichiro Ozawa shouts slogans...
Sadly, in this feudal kharzi, that is the same thing as politics.
Policies? No. Ability? No. Credibility? Not a trace.
Where were you born? Iwate? Then you WILL vote for Ozawa. See how he shouts slogans. He is your leader. Pay up.

For those asking about Ozawa's face, it comes from chemotherapy from when he overcame cancer.
If the DPJ can't stay true to its promise of promoting bureaucratic reform before tax increases and politically accountable policy making, that Ozawa was instrumental in making a platform of the DPJ when it won, then good on those who still believe in those worthy principles for leaving the Noda faction of the LDP and starting out a party that will continue the good fight that the DPJ briefly managed during the first year of its governance.
In terms of policies, the DPJ, LDP and Komeito are all EXACTLY the same right now. There is NO difference of substance, and they are all cooperating together on essentially what is the LDP manifesto in parliament. This party is made up of those that want to keep the DPJ's promises to the Japanese public of better and more accountable governance than the LDP.
This party deserves to take the place of the LDP, since they are the only party still advocating the policies that the DPJ was elected for and given a mandate to govern. With the rumours that Hashimoto might link up with him (which would be interesting given their tie up with the social democrats already), they might be able to make a respectable impact when the DPJ is destroyed in the next election. I hope they do well.

Well, the lady in front opposed to the bill to send the SDF troops to Iraq in 2003 and got up onto the chairman's table in the Upper House exposing her thigh-high legs and scuffled with a former pro-wrester Onishi. Now she is battling with prosecutors. A draw of the team KSD49.

The Japanese media are mesmerised by short term opinion polls, hastily jumping to conclusions and making judgements about the meaning of fluctuations in approval ratings. And the public too are swayed by this. The media and the public need to reflect deeply on this behavior. Due to the financial crisis, recession, employment problems and other issues, the approval ratings for Noda dropped quickly too. Japanese citizens need to be patient and J-goverment need to implement a effective recovery policy to have relatively stable political administrations.

This is a party of no solution to problems. A party of NO.

A country has more than one parties in political arena is definately a havoc and making the people's life in despair! Japan has been deadlocked by factions struggling, there were not just struggling between parties but the castastropic struggling within the ruling party! A lesson that the world has to learn!
