"basically nothing is set in concrete..other than what my family business churns out..but basically the Japanese electorate is too busy watching TV dramas or wide-shows to bother what goes on and let's face it,we know what we are doing better than the old, young, handicapped, singles, gaijin and gender-challenged anyway..great idea, let's get Koda Kumi to sing Kimi ga Yo at our next party meeting..."

"How about if my next speech says that anyone who isn't rich like us shouldn't bother voting because their opinions are worthless? That way only people like us will vote, and we always vote for money!"

It's gonna take more than a pep talk. Maybe he should have passed out katanas so they can be ready when the inevitable defeat comes along.

They all come out of the meeting and publicly say they're going to lose. Couldn't have been much of a pep talk.
