Aso gives first policy speech in Diet, stressing war on terror...He should declare war on suicides and family murders in Japan, costing more lives than terror attacks in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pak etc. Economy recovery will be possible so long China keeps rolling, USA is stuck with Financial problems.

Well if he can do what he says, I'll keep an open mind, unfortunately he'll slowly get bogged down with day-to-day Japanese politics and when a scandal hits he'll resign.

I think we are lucky he is as bold as he says. He really will be pushing for what he demands necessary or, the people decide.

I also like his goading. If they cant talk it on the floor, then what Japan dominates in being a polar democracy would be lost. Now there's a left hook for ya!
