    As I said before 60,000 yen is pocket change that will not do anything to stimulate the economy nor save a family in trouble. Much like the US stimulas last year this is just a gimmick to appeal to the public.

    injecting money into the economy through anticipated consumption is one option in economics.on paper calculations will prove aso right but as to whether people will really spend that money in time can be questioned but lets wait and see cos i know japanese have a spending culture,especially the youth

    there is more money in people's pockets than the government can give you. Some yen isn't all you make in a year and only amounts to a one day bonus. Extending the economy for one day is not an economic plan. It's a joke. What happens tomorrow?

    Put the money to unemployment and medicine. Stop dying on your way to the hospital in Osaka and other cities. Invest in a Post Carbon Japan. There are a hundred things this money could be used for, but just one day doesn't a country make.
