Hope he is flying economy class, as US has a big debt problem.

He's going to China and Japan to beg for more cheap money.

The U.S. has a complex but necessary relationship with China, which holds about $1.15 trillion in U.S. debt.

especially when China's top credit rating company has downgraded US rating....it will be interesting to see if China can buy US debt (treasury bonds) in the near future.

Why? Stay home and save the USA taxpayer some money. It's Hillary's job to do this. It looks like a new VP is in the plan for the 2012 election. Retirement isn't so bad.

The US debt problem is less than 1/2 of Japans in GDP terms. If Japan wanted to pay off its debt, increasing taxes to 100% of income will not be enough by half.

Wrong, with unfunded liabilities and total debt, America's debt is over 1,000% GDP. Japan is still solvent and has enough assets to pay off its debt.

    Don't buy yet!

Give it a few more months and the U.S.A. will be on sale.

You are right on this unless we do something on job growth and tax reform.

We are exporting inflation to China and China is exporting unemployment to US.

I'm pretty sure you can do that with any country. And so long as that money hasn't left the treasury yet, we can always screw over pensioners as necessary.
