YAMAGUCHI —
Campaigning began Thursday for the gubernatorial election in western Japan’s Yamaguchi Prefecture.
Toshiki Fukue, 67, a former chairman of a labor union federation in the prefecture, is challenging Sekinari Nii, 65, the incumbent governor whose third term in office is expiring.
