China's blunt respone not only to Japan but anybody whoever tries to interfere in China's internal affairs. Now, Fukuda will not bring this topic during Hu's visit to Japan.

Remember, Tibet was an independent country. And internal matters such as human rights are everyones concern. China really needs to open its ears. If they don't open up real freedom of expression it will get pent up and the sorry results will be things like protests and boycotts at the most inconvenient of times. Grow up China.

Unfortunately, any grassroots opposition to China's enslavement of Tibet will inevitably be drowned out by governments and industry that care more about cheap labor than they ever will about basic, human justice. Even Taiwan is "playing ball" these days.

The more i see those men in blue running along with the Olympic torch the more disdain I develop for China and its policies towards Tibet. Those men in blue are simply the goon squad and is typical of the way the Chinese deal with matters of human rights and the call for freedom. They simple bring in more muscle and accuse the other side of something ridiculous.

Anything China doesn't want to face becomes and Internal Issue. Tibet was not, is not and must not be a part of China. People have the right to autonomy. Tibet was an independent state and has the right to return to that status. Taiwan is an independent state and has the right to continue to be so. We must not tollerate nations who occupy and oppress other people. My country, the US included. Just because you have the guns to control a place does not make it rightfully yours. People have the right of self determination and it is time we stopped babying China on both Tibet and Taiwan. The only reason the so called democratic states don't do more about this sitution is that their corporate sponsors are making too much money there. Right and wrong no longer matters if there is a profit to be made. Thankfully the timing of this uprising has placed very real pressure on China. I say boycott the Olympics and teach China a lesson. Same goes for anything the US is doing until we get our of Iraq.
