This and Tamogami's comment are some of the first indications that neither side wants this to escalate further. Quite welcome indeed. I'm curious though as to what Bejing considers US "help" with regard to North Korea.

Good. Maybe he can get China to reign-in that petulant child to the south. It's obvious N.K. isn't towing the line with China like they used to. Perhaps a little "tough love" will get N.K. to behave. It certainly would make the rest of Asia's lives easier if they did.
