Japan should tell China they will support a reunification of Taiwan and the mainland if the Chinese will remove the Ill regime from NK and take the place over until it is ready for reunification with SK. Should take about 50 years but the Chinese are patient.

ca1ic0cat, I cannot agree with that. China does not have enough power to remove the regime in the DPRK, mainly because South Korea does not want to see unification (not re-unification) happen. Look at how the re-unification process nearly destroyed Germany and you will see why South Korea does not want this to happen.

That said, assassins have been contacted and are standing by to take out Kim Jong Il. Although I found the offer to be low in terms of risk/reward, it might actually appeal to someone in his inner circle, and we might see a worse situation develop as someone around the rank of colonel takes control of the nation. Expect him to betray his benefactors and take the DPRK down a darker and more dangerous road.

This doesn't make sense on a couple different levels, one being that the suggestion is totally off topic and hardly relates to the article.

This Saito fellow really got himself in a hole. He's got both the Taiwanese angry at him and the Chinese. To do that in one shot is quite a feat.

It is no wonder that Japan is held in such low esteem - they are con- tinually trying to undo the punishment that was foisted upon them in the Potsdam Surrender documents. They signed those papers and agreed with them some 64 years ago and you can depend on China to "hold their feet to the fire."

Masaki Saito said Taiwan’s status "is not resolved".

I am very happy that China is dissatisfied. In fact, I hope Japan dumps all their US $$$ on the international market, which will sharply devalue the US$, and leave China holding a fist full of worthless dollars.

Japan isn't held in low esteem. Not by the Taiwanese nor the Chinese as indicated by the numbers of vistors to Japan from both places. "Postdam" has absolutely nothing to do with this article. As usual you're going on an OT rant.
