China urges Japan to be 'constructive' at G20 summit

Looks like China is taking a page from Abe's book. Everyone knows what happens when Abe's gets an "urge", so I wonder what'll happen when China does the same?

As the chinese are urging the Japanese to play a constructive role, I expect the Japanese to urge the Chinese to play a more "mature" role (Note Emphasis on mature)

'Constructive' as in building something on he Senkaku Islands ?

How about both be constructive? What China means is, listen to us and do as we say. Or visa versa!

Russia just gave Japan a way out of the impasse without loosing face by deploying a humanitarian action to Syria.

China can be constructive by recognizing, respecting and abiding by International Law.

what a hilarious condescending tone. China hasn't a hope of ever being meaningful no matter how large its economy is.

Everyone knows that China are the bad guys in the region, so this statement - flying in the face of all reason - just makes them look ridiculous.

The hypocrisy of China is that the international laws, agreements, treaties, institutions, protocols, together with all the support , investment and trade from the international community are all what has allowed China to get off it's economic knees and become what it is today. And now that they have wealth and a huge military built with it, they thumb their nose at international law and their neighbors. And they still think they can be Asia's "leader"....

Well, at least so far China is only "urging" Japan "to be constructive," not "slamming" or "condemning" for not being constructive enough. What China is really saying is don't bring up our violations of International Law and don't interfere with our aggression and please, please help us with our sinking economy. What Japan should tell China is that you dug your own cesspool, now stay home and wallow in it.

Jinping。Do something about your scowling face when shaking hands with Abe. That is the first step to make G20 constructive!

the world should abandon investment in China and go somewhere else in the G20

I think many people in the world are seeing through China's intentions to control the world. Our best way to stop them is to stop trading with them. Free and democratic countries should make it policy to trade with other free and democratic countries as much as possible. India and Brazil are countries that would be happy to replace China as a source for cheap products. Investing in those countries would enable them to progress. If China's power continues to climb, we are all for in a rough time in the future.

China isn't changing. They had their chance. It's over.
