8,500 current and former ministry officials who have been in charge of rice distribution.
There's nothing like being comitted to your job is there - no evidence of job-hopping here folks.
When did Japan trade in the hierarchical management structure for the cloud management structure? I mean, with the hierarchical structure it was easy to work out where the buck stopped.
MrMukatsuku, it is easy to see where the buck stopped, under the table! but I guess it is under who's table most of it stopped that remains un-answered. That was never answered under the hierarchical structure either
I agree - In Japan where the buck stops is never answered - period!
I was pointing out that the top of the hierarchical structure is usually where the buck stops... but not in Japan. No, no, in Japan it's usually some poor schmuck in the mangement chain that has been convinced to sacrifice himself, with the hidden agenda (hidden from the schmuck) of: some double dealing politicial can carry on their corrupt career.
Maybe statement was a bit leading... and I think that we may never find out who is really to blame for this scandal.
