What I don't like is that there can be no restrictions on capital flows. So next time, Wall Street can cause a global depression rather than a great recession in the US and Europe.

look fine if the US doesn't want a TPP that's their choice, but don't complain when China steps up to take its spot , and believe me China will be drooling at the chance. One of the goals of the TPP was to contain China its failure may just embolden them

Block it. Block it now.

Which wouldn't have worked anyway.

If NAFTA had lived up to just some of its promises, it would be a different story. The increased trade under the treaty hasn't lifted real incomes in the US. This is evidence that free trade theory, on which these treaties are based, is flawed.
The wonks used to tell us free trade is win-win. Now more are conceding it's win-lose....and regular working folks are so often the losers.

China is everywhere. Just got back from Puerto Rico, my country of birth. Went to a souvenir shop to get some stuff with my flag on it. Typical products with the flag that a long time ago were made there, now have made in China on it. The small section for local providers was at least twice the price for their products. Shame

TPP is a stab in the back of hardworking blue collar Americans. These are Hillary base and they will be taken for a ride by her fake opposition to it. The Clintons buddy McAuliffe already said Hillary support TPP and her current opposition is just to deceive hardworking American voters.
In fact, TPP 'high standard' real intention is to substitute WTO rules to help Vietnam be the biggest winner at the expense of China. TPP is a geopolitical move against China, not with the best interest of ordinary US workers.
No matter how one look at it, US workers are overpriced and their next complaint will be Vietnam and India down the road as US labor just cannot compete with these poor Asians. Only corporate America make off like a bandit, just like NAFTA have rewarded them at the expense of ordinary Americans.

"Even Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine, Clinton’s newly-minted running mate, came out against TPP the day after joining the ticket, despite having praised parts of it days earlier."
He's quickly learned how to flip-flop from Hillary, ha ha.
"Block it. Block it now."
So, Black Sabbath, you'll be voting for Trump, who's against it? Yeah, I know his VP Mike Pence was for it, like Hillary, so he'll have to flip-flop on it too, ha ha, lol
