Bio fuels dont force up food prices, people do.

There is no shortage of food the world over - there is only a shortage of people who have the money to pay the ridiculous prices the capitalists set. And even if one accepts the flawed argument that there is a shortage of food - why not just grow more?

That people in this world are dying from starvation in the year 2008 is one of this generations biggest crimes against humanity. Think about it. It just doesnt make sense from a humanitarian point of view. However from a capitalist point of view it makes perfect sense. Money money money. What a shame.

Bio fuels wont last as cheaper/more productive alternative fuels are developed, but they represent the beginning of the turning away from oil and gas. Alternative energy is about to move into second gear, many thanks to the publicity generated by bio fuels.

As our global system works now the rich are getting richer, and the poor are getting the picture.

I think it's the same problem. You'll find the people who introduced biofuels are the capitalists.

I can see where this is heading. 'Global warming' causes food shortages. GM seeds will be heavily promoted to 'save' the world. Eventually that will give the capitalists full control of the food supply. A bit simplistic but watch how it plays out.
