Fukuda says Japan has info on Kim's health but gives no details

TOKYO —

Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda acknowledged Thursday that Japan has information on North Korean leader Kim Jong Il’s health but did not give any details that would address speculation he may be seriously ill.

“We certainly have such kind of information. But we’re not at the stage to tell what kind of change that would bring to North Korea,” Fukuda told reporters. He added that Japan will step up cooperation with other countries in dealing with the issue.

Fukuda is keeping this info in the same box he used to cover up the gyoza scandal.

He has information that Kim may or may not be ill, and if he is he may or may not have a serious illness.

Fukuda plays the wildcard that's sure to have the world talking...

The govennment also knows people who are affiliated with Al Qaida, but it really is just a friend of a friend's butterfly watching club and that is certainly off-topic.
