nonsense. Dont try to make excuses/hurdles where there aren't any. They should meet and try to bring ties closer. I imagine you don't want that

Fukuda is going to have a busy period after he arrives (hat in hand) to meet with the Chinese leaders (August 8) bu then he will return to Japan to recognize VJ Day (15 August) and then to recognize 2 September 1945 for the signing of the Surrender papers on the USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay

All I see is CHina making more promises and lies, as in the past , can not be trusted and loves the handshakes with smiles for the cameras then in an instant convince its population to hate and retaliate against those they just had pretended to be friends with. I hope Japan takes it as for what it is, baseless words! Just agree and pretend it never happened. It is too bad China has to be such a country of leaders that one can not put any trust in.

I am waiting to see China's direction after not having to play the good boy when the Olympic spot light is off them. That is if one can put it in such a context as being a good boy, with Dafur, and Tibet issues that has went on recently. But for certian, the world is prepared for China's rise. :) I do hope Japan does not fall for China's wedge tactics to separate the US and Japan alliance. If it worked within Taiwan's society it surely can work among others.
