Bono: WAAAAAAY cool and awesome for his fight to help the suffering in Africa....
Fukuda: WAAAAAAAY pathetic for pandering to the liberal, Man-made Global Warming crowd.
romulus3 at 08:54 AM JST - 30th May
Fukuda: Bono-kun, you should do more to educate the Louis Vuitton crowd in Japan about climate change, Al Gore didn't cut it.
Bono: Well, you seem like a hip guy, why don't you do it?
Fukuda: Oh, I am hip. I am in line for the replacement surgery. Its just that only 23% of the public see me that way and thats the 23% that do not like Louis Vuitton.
Bono: That seems unfair! I saw you on the news singing an Elvis number. Big respect! Lets do a duet to inspire them.
Fukuda: Whats an Elvis?
Bono: You know, are you lonesome tonight....
Fukuda: ehhhh? Chotto....ahhhh! no, That was Koizumi sama, my old boss.
Bono: Oh! so what have you done then?
Fukuda: welllll, I..I..I...have asked you to do something. Thats cool right?
Bono: fraid not.
Fukuda: Look, I already came up with some lyrics. "are you ready"
Bono: Thats an ACDC song.
Fukuda: A she d she?
Bono: It was a joke Fukuda.
Fukuda: hahaha hahaha hahaha hahaha. Very nice. Oh, so nice joke.
Bono: lets hear the Lyrics.
Fukuda: I wana run, across the ice plains, I wana see, seals and penguins, and when I go there, I go there with you...ohhhhh, where there is ice plains
Bono: that sucked.
Fukuda: I didnt write it. Taro Aso wrote it.
Bono. Shut up Fukuda

I can think of a number now..
'Lonely Highwayman'
Bono: I would like to dedicate this song to all the Highway Booth workers in Japan who are hated on for collecting tolls for an already paid off expressway, but are soooo un-appreciated for their role in reducing polluting cars on the roads that are a major source of global warming..
Fukuda: "Excelleeent"

Bono is a good choice. I mean the Japanese believe in ghosts and all and who knows, some where in the spirit world there is someone who will guide us in the right direction to correct all our human badness and all we need is the power of music and the new king, Bono! Sing Bono sing. I almost can feel the change coming. It's magical man!! Rock stars are such magical talents that they can affect the spirit world and change our world. We saw that with the 60s.

Japanese people believe in ghosts so Bono is a good choice. That makes a lot of sense. U2 are certainly a pale shadow of a decent rock band. Excellent post bushlover.

where did they do this survey? Some African Aid agency NPO I suspect
I call on Fukuda to tackle this problem through his tenure as PM - though that probably won't be long enough to make a difference. Stop saying and DO

hey Bono, i'm irrelevant and you're not so can you please do my job for me ?
usaexpat at 11:35 PM JST - 30th May
I read this from the AP and it stated that Bono had urged Japan to send more money to Africa but they left out the climate change part from Fukuda. For my part I would tell Bono to send more of his own money since Japan is broke.

Spot on - he must have quite a bit since shuffling his own assets out of reach of the Irish taxman. After all, he's able to afford to build some eyesore-skyscraper in Dublin....

Romulus3: Damn! I was going to come on here and write the dialogue! Ah well, great job! Got a good chuckle out of the 'lyrics'. I can just imagine how crappy a direct 'environmental' song would be....
(screen shimmers to Bono on stage)
Bono: This next song of ours was inspired by Japan's PM Mr. Fu-koo-da. It's called "Global Warming"
"The pants of the liar they be on fiiiiiiiiiiiirrrrrrre for want of some water but like a fly on the wall it's to laaaaaaa-AAAAAAAAAA-AAAAAAAAAAAAte!
(Chorus) Oh, isn't it funny that we can't eat money that the fires are spreading and the oceans we're dreading oh-oh! The pandas are crying oh-oh! The whales are dying (this line cut in Japan) We swim with the dophins and rescue the world yeah rescue the world"
(crowd stones Bono to death)

Hmmm... didn't like my spacing it seems. This will make it easier:

It's like you read more and more - "climate change" and "global warming" is the Left's idea of prayer in schools.
romulus3 at 08:24 PM JST - 31st May
hahahaha. thats priceless Smithy
smithinjapan at 09:05 AM JST - 1st June
super: You're absolutely right... the idea that it's just the left's idea that global warming is a fact is laughable. Thanks for joining the right side.
