Infrastructure spending is all well and good, but, a growth plan should also include new tax regimes that are more friendly to working people.

Sure does, but listening to Abbott, Obama and that british chap Cameron would tire and bore the hell out of anyone.

It's really simple...killing taxes = more available funds for people to invest = growth! But No, wait, who will pay for all these silly meetings between these leaders and if the problem is solved then there is no need to have these meetings. Put the money back in people's hands and they will take care of the rest, it isn't rocket science and we would be saving millions by not having these meetings, haven't they heard of Skype!!! Economies haven't got a chance as long as bureaucrats are running around hindering people from making the very thing they love which they love to spend and waste so much of by giving it to all the big conglomerates that put them there in the first place! A well organised Ponzi scheme where only the rich get paid out.

Same line as always - Economic growth -GDP- first. $2trillion to look after the stock markets and the political lobbyists first - social and environmental priorities last. how much pledged to help fight climate change ... $3billion or so - really highlights their true priorities and short sightedness.

All these mugs fly around the world with an entourage using tax money, burning fossil fuels staying in the best hotels eating the best food drinking the best wine, all so they can talk about lining their pockets and climate change.

MR Putins thinking... "gee the Koalas are the friendliest ones here and the highlight of the G20"

Putin just whispered "I crush you like an egg any time I choose, you furry little turd"

Look at the fear in the poor koala's eyes.

G20 should play a leading role to eliminate poverty, provide security to citizens and make a world a place to live in peace and harmony. The Prime Minister of India, Mr.Modi has rightly stressed the need for rooting out black money, the curse of modern economy with degrading moral values and social responsibility. The G20 instead of trying to corner Putin and Russia, should focus more on globalisation of citizens without any brick and mortar walls and think of Universal governance and universal citizenship.

We'll access and explain the direction of World Map, not putting chaos as political influence which make it more delays and confusion, and while implementations will be there and some might be farther or nearer to the likes of few in cohort to progressive developments and right strategy, it will all benefited among's after all. So start a good reconcile in all'th hindrance so moving forward keep it on for all. Some openly volunteered and has a positive plan, and others already interconnected- means a signal of rejoining peace and prosperity, it is a good sign that they understand how humanity heading in our planet with color blind to achieve our civility goals. I'm looking forward next year for the release of 2 trillion dollars to fund the new projects that will help nations reach the goals. G-8 February 21st 2015 is my request to release the fund to IMF and World Bank a trillion each.Tyvm and Goodspeed, peace to all

Before the "sanctions" Russia and EU were very close economically

Russia used to sell resources mostly to Europe and instead used to buy a lot of goods in EU

You can easily understand the importance of such partner for overpopulated industrialized but resources poor Europe..

Every person can understand this but NOT europian politicians

So today this is only history : EU&Russia stops economical cooperation as a result

China (instead Europe) will receive Russian recourses and take europian share of the Russian market

It's always the same thing : somebody loose somebody wins...

The main result of sanctions : it's help China to grows faster

More and more faster....
