German president visiting Japan
TOKYO —
German President Christian Wulff is visiting Japan this week. On Sunday, Wulff planted a tree with Crown Prince Naruhito during a German festival to celebrate 150 years of German-Japanese friendship at Arisugawa Memorial Park in Tokyo.
He will meet Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda on Monday afternoon.

Good, they are not visiting to discuss global warming that was common agenda when Fukuda was the prime minister. welcome to the country of rising sun and try bailout each other.

What they need to discuss is the Hague Convention. Also the parental child abductions committed by Japanese women and men. Children have a right to both parents and likewise parents should be allowed visitation rights.
Unfortunately I doubt they discussed such matters.

Saw both Fillon and Wulff in Tokyo over the weekend. Security was very tight as you would expect. Just hope they actually do something productive while they're here
