    This is my neck of the woods, I'm surprised that some action has finally been taken. My wife's uncle made a film about the damming of Isahaya bay and as near as I can tell there wasn't much public support for the project from the beginning. A pure shame, should never have been allowed to happen. It was supposed to be a project to create farm land or some such but I haven't seen very much in the way of farming or development. The government lost and needs to lose the appeal, take out the dike and restore Isahaya bay to its natural state.
