Of course it is the top pripority of the country. Now, what about discuse some ideas, like open the country to foreign investments or sing free trade agreements with China and South Korea?

If reviving economy is the top priority, first ban local and international Haken (dispatch workers) in Japan. These days’ companies are not hiring qualified foreigners, who are living in Japan with genuine visa (permanent residency or spouse visa) for overseas marketing, finance, IT and other jobs. Companies are hiring people from overseas (cheap labor countries) and these people come to Japan for 6 months to 2 years with the help of haken-gaisha (placement agency). With the help of bogus (fraud) companies they get working visa of Japan. After completion their contract period, these workers also replaced by new haken-workers from overseas.

To revive the economy stop outsourcing that shrinks the job market. Japan is dependent on third party employer or haken kaisha which is the historical tradition of this country. Every sector in Japan there is a mediator agency that bridges between two parties. This culture was created after WW2 to create more jobs involving more people in workforce. This is another cause of high expense in this country. Japan should look for her diversified consumer market not being solely dependent on the US. There are also many possible countries in the world where they can export products with their widely accepted branded tag "Made in Japan".

Should have been the first, second, third and final priority of his term in office. Anyone who rides the trains (perhaps he doesn't) knows, sees, hears and smells the discontent of this nations people without a doubt LARGELY DUE to having no friggen income and no hope of finding any means of getting it in the foreseeable future. Just a step away from being destitute. Poverty level at 15% is drastic understatement from what I see-feel-on the trains during rush hour these days....push, push, shove, shove, hit, hit.
