Western industrialized powers used to skillfully keep IMF under their control by putting own nationals to the top jobs within the institution -- more political than financial though. When it comes to contributing the US$500 billion rescue fund however, everyone appears to be too happy to stand back and look at others.. !?
By the way, how to build a 'firewall' with banknotes..it might end up get the money burnt, evaporated ?
